Everyone should learn to read and write. The expectations for students to learn to read and write are no different for a sighted or blind. It is fundamental to learn these skills in order to progress.
Several studies show that Braille literacy is directly correlated with academic achievement and employment among the blind. There is no substitute for the ability to read, and therefore no digital alternative can replace Braille completely.
Understanding the significant of Braille literacy, the special classes are conducted to train those needy people who have desire to learn Braille. These classes assist them in gaining command over Braille and boost their self-confidence too.
By contributing to our feature donation campaigns, you are not just supporting us,
you are fostering independence, education, and accessibility for the people with blindness.
